Having Trouble Choosing A Network Marketing Opportunity?

Do You Need Help Choosing An MLM Opportunity?

Need some help with choosing a Network Marketing opportunity? So many people get recruited directly into one company by one of their friends that they don’t get the chance to choose.  Often these people did not know of the existence of MLM or Network Marketing as it is sometimes called. If you do need help in choosing a Network Marketing opportunity, you will have to be prepared to do some research and definitely give alot of thought to your decisions.

I disagree with alot of people who say that it does not make any difference which company you join.

 1. Do you love the products?  Would you happily sell them to your Granny? Because if you would not, will you be able to happily sell them?  People can see when you are speaking from the heart, and if you are not, they will not buy from you. If you would use the products even if you did not join the business, then maybe they are right for you.

 2.  What is the market like with regards to these products? If, for instance, it is the latest super juice, have you considered market saturation?  Too many Network Marketing companies are presently selling new ‘unique’ health products.  Nowadays I would rather go for a product with a wide open, untapped market, something which is a powerful, current, and on trend.

 3.  One essential is to have a low startup cost.  So many people just cannot afford to invest a very large sum of money in something about which they know very little.  Low costs have always been one of the most important selling points of an MLM business. It makes it affordable to start your own business.  Network Markting is one business which people can get involved in without lots of overheads.

 4.  A company’s retention rate is also very important.  A low retention rate means your residual income will fail.  Retention rates in Network Marketing are generally not good.  Many MLM’s dream of how easy this business would be if only they did not lose distributors so regularly. You would need a considerably larger number of distributors in a company with a low retention rate than you would in a company with a high retention rate.

 5.  Your compensation plan is very important.  There are so many different compensation plans out there today, it is difficult to know what it best; unilevel, binary, matrix?  Researching the type of plan is probably the best thing you can do.  Unless you know alot about many different compensation plans, you will mainly need to use your common sense.  If it sounds unrealistic, it probably is.

 6.  Check out the management of the company.  See if they are trusted and respected in the industry.  Have they been in the business before; check on their history. Research the company fully. Many Network Marketing companies do not make it past their first year of operation. Check out the growth it has had, what assets it owns and if it is well thought of.

 7.  Lastly check out MLM Watchdog.com for lots of information on MLM’s to help you in choosing an MLM.

I hope this will help you if you need help choosing an MLM opportunity. There are some great companies out there, one of them will be right for you.  And if you have not been in an MLM before, welcome to this wonderful industry!
