Who Is Deon Bryan?

“I am a internet guru, world business expert and marketing genius who knows everything about anything and will make you a millionaire in around 3 to 5 days! So if you don’t join me this second you will have missed out on a once in a lifetime opportunity that a 3 year old could pick up in a couple of hours!”

Ok so that is a little extreme but it is the kind of stuff you definitely won’t be hearing from me. I don’t believe in hype, I’ve been taken in by it to many times in the past as you may have done. I prefer to be honest and tell you how it really is; it’s a spade not an earth displacement tool!

Before I start I suggest you turn your phone off, grab your favourite drink and lock yourself away in a quiet room where you can take the time and concentrate on the information about me and the  amazing opportunity I will share with you.

I am 35 years old and have been in a relationship with my partner Catrin (Cat) for the last 12 years.  We are not married yet,  some things I just don’t liked to be rushed!

We are expecting our first child in early September. This is both very exciting and pretty terrifying at the same time! Does this mean I now have to ‘grow up’?  I don’t want to, it’s no fun being a ‘grown up’ :)

We recently moved into our house we renovated in south east London. In an area, which is far enough away from the real hustle and bustle, with plenty of parks, a few nice bars and shops, and good schools, I think it is a great place for young families (I’m definately still young!) to be. If we need to get into the centre of London for a show or whatever it is only 25 minutes away.

The imminent arrival (time is flying!) is the biggest driver for me to make a great success of this business. The only way this can happen is by helping you achieve what you want. It really can give you a secure regular income so you can do the things you want to do in life. However what is most important is it also gives you the time to do it.

Time is a valuable commodity I believe gets seriously overlooked. That is until before you know it you have come to retirement age and you look back and think, what happened to my life? There is so much more I wanted to achieve. And perhaps, how am I going to afford a comfortable retirement and leave a legacy for my children, grandchildren and so on?

I’m not afraid of taking calculated risks and have always remebered these words ’I would rather regret what I did do rather than what I didn’t do’. As this would always have me wondering about the ‘what ifs?

I enjoy helping people wherever I can, and have plans to do much more for people who are not in an as fortunate position as we are.

I have got this far from being myself, never feeling the need to butt kiss or compromise my beliefs in trust, integrity and honesty. I’m a firm believer in what goes around comes around.

I’m not afraid to be different and am good at blocking out other peoples opinion of me. You have to be if you have an entrepreneurial spirit and want to take control of your life and leave the ‘rat race’ behind.

I suspect you as I do have friends and family who do not understand your ‘weird schemes’ and try to ‘talk sense’ into you. They are doing it in your best interest because they love and care for you, so be thankful for that…………and ignore them!

If you have a dream for financial freedom then don’t give in to any dream stealers. Everyone will see the benefit when you are much happier affording much more time with them. Just keep going.

I love people from all walks of life and do my best to get on with everyone. I give everyone a chance and don’t buy into what another person’s opinion might be about someone until I’ve known him or her for myself.

I avoid watching the news or reading newspapers, cause all they spout on about is doom and gloom. If you are told something enough times you can’t help but believe in it, so no more about the credit crunch!

One of my favourite past times going to the gym regularly and leading a fairly healthy lifestyle, but that doesn’t mean I don’t know how to enjoy myself and enjoy a drink or two!

I don’t read the instructions for anything and I hate flat pack furniture, not a good combination!

I’m a pretty ’normal’ person with a standard up bringing. Soon after leaving school at 16 years old I needed to get out of my small village and I joined the British Army.

I spent a total of 10 mostly happy years, although after about 7 years I started to wonder about what else was out there in the big wide world beyond the restrictions of Army life.

I’d had enough of being told when to eat, sleep, or work. Plus potentially at any time be sent anywhere in the world.

At 9 years I knew had to leave and have more control of my own life so worked my years notice and left for a wild and fancy free civilian life………… so I thought!

It soon became apparent that in reality civilian life is not to far removed from army life. I was still being told the times I had to work, I had commute up to 2 hours each way to where the work was, and I was only being paid what somebody else thought I was worth, which really bugged me.

If you are reading this then we are worth an awful lot more than any temporary wage, which is why I then started to look for an alternative way of making a substantial income and have the time to enjoy it.

After months of research this brought my attention to network marketing. I chose a company and we both spent nearly 5 years working extremely hard, making huge sacrifices emotionally and unfortunately largely financial for it to effectively fail……which was great!

Believe it or not, failure is good! (I still have to remind myself sometimes!). Read about any ‘successful’ person and you will see they had plenty of failures along the way, the key is they never gave up. Giving up is easy to do; if you do then your life will never change.

Just do, or do not! There is no try!……..Yoda.

The company we chose to work with was a health and beauty company, so to try and boost our short term income we also started our own ‘conventional’ business in a health club in Cat’s home town in Wales, offering treatments, massages etc. using their products.

After a year of hard work and investment in bad ideas, purchases, advertising, and websites etc. (some sales people are really good!) we decided enough was enough and both went back to a ‘normal’ job, self employed working short term contracts for companies.

You may have heard this before but it is very true, a JOB means ‘Just Over Broke’!! No matter how many pay increases you receive there never seems to be any more money left in the bank at the end of the month.
